Hi! I really like to take pictures with Bev's camera. I would like to have a camera of my own someday.

First Day of School

I started school this week. I really was scared to go meet new people. I didn't want to go so I put up a bit of a fight.

But then Bev let me play with her camera and I started feeling better.

My mom was with me too so that helped a lot. She is kind of silly;)

This is a picture I took of myself.

It was Michael's first day of school too, and he wasn't happy about it either.

Well; here I am at Wright Elementary School. And I'm not too happy about it either. And these are my teachers trying to keep me from escaping. They did a pretty good job. Darn it!

Catching Up

Hey everyone. Just thought I'd do a little up dating on what I've been doing. Bev got kind of sick and she couldn't keep up on the blogs for a while. But she's better now and I'm old enough to input some of my own ideas on this blog. Mostly I've been hanging out with Michael and Baileigh.

Michael drives me crazy sometimes, but I still love him. He's not as crazy as my brother Derek though. We have some good times together. That's him with the diaper on his head:)

Bev took us to the zoo and we got some cool hats. I saw all kinds of animals at the zoo but my favorite was the monkeys, cause they remind me of my brothers.

But the best thing that happened this year is my mom came home and now I get to spend the whole summer with her. So I'll be back again in the Fall! See Ya!

I peed in the pot today:)

I been pretty sick this week, I have had to use my nebulizer a whole bunch of times. Sometimes I'm a big boy and I do it all by myself, other times Bev has to hold on to me and blow it in my face. I really don't like the nebulizer very much. The Dr says I can't be around cigarette smoke but sometimes it happens and I get sicker. I don't like cigarettes either. I couldn't hardly breathe for 2 days but I'm feeling better now.

Today I did a lot of naughty things and I had to go to my room. I made a whole bunch of messes for Bev to clean up. I threw my food on the floor and I wouldn't pick it up. I ripped my new book all to pieces and I got poop all over myself and the carpet. I even trashed my bedroom. And for some reason I'm not suposed to play the movies by myself. I just wasn't in the mood to listen today.

Finally Bev got mad at me and made me go to my room. So after we made up and I promised to be a good boy. I went into the bathroom and peed in the pot for the very first time. She gave me a high five and a hug:) I'm going to try to be a good boy for Bev the rest of the day:) Oh yeah! And I'm real sorry about those stickers she has to pick off the floor now, but I had a lot of fun sticking them all over my body first.

Summer Fun

Hi there everyone. I suppose you have been wondering what I have been doing lately. After all the parties last month we decided to relax a little and have fun in the yard. Bev got me this cool slide to play on and it's my favorite place to be this summer. Michael comes over to play almost every day. He likes to play on the slide too.

Last weekend we went camping, it was a lot of fun. We roasted marshmallows in the fire, I got to sleep in a tent and take a real shower. The shower was fun except it was very slippery and Bev had to save me from falling.

There were 17 of us all camping together. We went to Maquoketa caves and Hairyman carried me through some of them.

I ran along the paths and climbed a lot of steep hills. Michael went into more caves than I did because his daddy knew where they all were.

We were going to go back the next day but it started raining real hard and the wind was blowing and JL's tent flooded so everyone packed up their stuff and I played in puddles till it was time to go. I can't wait to see what else happens this summer.

I Went To The Zoo

Last week I went to the zoo with Michael,his mommy,and Bev. I saw lots of birds but Bev wouldn't let me take them home. The first birds I saw were baby ducks and their mama. They were swimming in the water with the turtles. I tried to go get them but you know who wouldn't let go of me.

Then we went into another room and it was full of brightly colored birds and they were flying all around and singing real loud. The last time I was there that room was full of butterflies. The birds must have come and ate them.

After we were done looking at the fish and snakes and stuff we went outside and I found more birds. There were pink flamingos just standing there and I wanted some for the front yard, but Bev said "No that's too tacky." Then we went to look at the Otter but he wasn't there. So we found Mr. Peacock instead. He was being a bit stuck up and he wouldn't show us his pretty feathers. Bev took a picture of him anyway and then we ditched him and went for a ride on the train.

The train ride was fun, but I stayed real close to Bev so I wouldn't fall off. Next we saw goats and they were very hungry. They kept pushing Michaels' mommy around. I didn't have any food so they left me alone. Bev said they were going to have babies, I just know they were too fat to climb up on this rock with me.

The giant goldfish were starving. We gave them some food and they went crazy. The ducks kept following me until they found some other people to feed them.

I ran around some more and saw some sea lions swimming. The lion was just sitting there ignoring me and the tiger looked like he wanted to eat me. Then I found a slide and I didn't want to leave it. I really like slides.

It took a while but Bev finally got me off the slide and we went to see the rest of the zoo. I saw some giraffes eating leaves,and some cool birds with funny looking hats on. I wanted to take them home but Bev said NO. I don't think Bev likes birds very much.

After we watched the monkeys for a while Michael fell asleep so we started heading out. On the way we found a store with lots of neat zoo stuff and Bev bought me a new hat. I had lots of fun at the zoo and so did Michael. I can't wait to go again and visit my birds.

Today I feel excited.

JL didn't have to go to school yesterday or today. That means I get to wake him up bright and early and he gets to play with me all day:) We have lots of fun together. We watch movies, read stories, ride my bike, play basketball and go visit lots of girls. On Mondays when Bev is gone we play football in the living room with Hairyman. Don't tell her it's a secret. Shhhhh!

I won't be around for a week or so. It's Spring Break and I'm going to stay with my mommy. JL is staying with his mommy too! Bev will probably be lonely and miss us a lot. She keeps smiling and whistling but I know she will be bored without us.

Michael is moving with his mommy and daddy to a new apartment. I'm sure he will tell you all about it in his blog. He is going to be with his mommy for Spring Break too. I don't know what Bev will find to do with all of us gone. Who is going to help her vacuum up the toys?

Today I feel like having a party:)

I've already had two but one more can't hurt. I've been having lots of fun. Sunday I had a party at my grandma's and my whole family was there. I got lots of cool presents. My grandma gave me a whole bunch of stuff.

My biggest present was a potty chair so now I can go potty like a big boy. I really like to sit on it except when Bev takes my pants off. Then it's cold and uncomfortable. I sit on my potty every time Bev sits on hers. I can't sit on her potty because it's too tall and I might fall in and get sucked through that little hole.

I also got some Elmo shoes and a CD player with headphones, so I can listen to music like JL:)

Last night I had another party here at Bev's it was a small one but it was fun:) Hairyman brought me a cake home and so did Bev. One was for everybody and the other one was just for me. (I haven't ate that one yet because I'm taking it over to my mamma's today so I can open more presents). We didn't have any birthday candles so Bev used her tea light candles. Aren't they pretty?

Grandpa and Grandma Derby were here they gave me a card with a piece of paper in it. Everyone called it money. It had some numbers on it and one of those numbers was a 2 just like me. Cousin Bethannie was here too, she brought me a football. She is very nice and I like her a lot! She read me a story.

My most favorite toy was a cool Elmo guitar. I love it! Now I can be a rock and roll star. I play it all the time and so does everyone else. As soon as Michael gets big enough to play the drums we are forming our own rock band. We are going to be famous:) Will you come see us at our big concert?

Before Bethannie went home Grandma Nean showed up and gave me another present. It was a piggy bank. I had a great time putting money in it. Bev says I have 40 dollars so far. When I have 100 dollars Hairyman and Bev are going to buy me a Bond. I don't know what that is but I hope it tastes good:)

Before I go I just want to thank everyone for a great birthday and all the neat presents I can't wait till next year.....

Soon I'll Be Two

Today I feel like being a monster.

Next week is my birthday. I will be two years old. Bev says I've been acting two for a couple of months now. I don't know what that means. I do know that I get mad a lot and sometimes I get into trouble. When I'm really bad I have to go to my room. Monday I bit Michaels finger. Bev was angry with me and wouldn't hold me or talk to me until I told Michael I was sorry. I didn't want to at first but then he started crying so I gave him a hug and said I was sorry. After that she wasn't mad anymore and I got a big hug:)

I've been learning a lot of new things lately. I can push the pedals on my bike now. I'm really good at pretending to fall off my skateboard and just laying there. I learn new words every day. And Me and Bev are teaching Michael baby sign language. Bev has been trying to take pictures of me doing signs but it's taking a while. You may not be able to tell but sometimes I'm camera shy.

Some other things I'm doing are taking off my clothes and trying to put them on. Sometimes I try to go to the bathroom. I pull down my pants and lift up my shirt and stand in front of the toilet but my diaper keeps getting in the way. Which is a good thing since I'm not tall enough to reach yet. Oh yeah! And I really like to make messes with my food and drinks.

That's about it for now. I have to get ready to go to my mama's house. I'm going to spend the night with her so Bev can go to the Dr. See Ya...

Recently I've been having these compulsions to dump food or drink on the floor. I had lot's of fun dancing and playing in the popcorn. Then Bev wanted me to pick it up and spoiled all my fun.

Iowa Childrens Museum

Last week we went to the Iowa Childrens Musuem. It was a long drive all the way to Coralville,Iowa. I slept most of the way. It was inside a great big mall that had an ice skating rink in it.

The first thing you see when you go in is two aquariums one has a turtle and one has some fish in it. After that you go around the corner and there is a grocery store that has everything in it. It even has just my size shopping carts. I found a fish in the meat department and I tried to save it by running to the aquariums and putting it in the water. But Bev caught me before I could get it in. I really liked tasting all the plastic food:)

The next room was a pizzeria and you get to make pizzas. We all made one but mine was the best. Even though it didn't taste very good. The room across from that looked like a doctors office so I didn't want to go in there.

There were a couple of rooms that I didn't go into because they were for the bigger kids. One was a craft room and the other was a newsroom with a TV and a big camera.
The art room was really neat. It was named after the famous Artist Grant Wood. It has lots of windows and places to paint and draw. I got to draw a picture and JL and Big D had some fun of their own.

My favorite room was the ball room. It was full of golf balls and ramps and loopdeloops that you could roll the balls down. There was a really cool Thomas The Tank train track and a place where you could make cars and race them down a track.

Next we went upstairs, there were lots of rooms but only 3 you could play in. The rest were rooms for birthday parties. The first room I went into was for building things. The big boys liked it but I couldn't play with some of it. So after I tried on all the hats we went to the sand room. It was ok but I didn't like getting my hands dirty. Last but not least was the farm room. We all had lots of fun there. First I tried to get some milk from a cow but none would come out. Bev called me a city boy.

Then I drove a tractor around for a while. We ran up and down ramps and crawled through tunnels and there was a slide too. There was a garden with a scarecrow and real plastic vegetables that you could plant in the ground.

I really had a good time there and the big boys had fun pretending with me. The next day I woke up and I was sick with the flu. It must have been all the plastic food I ate.

Been A Long Time

Hi there! I know I haven't been around much but I've been really busy like almost every day. I went to a lot of places and opened lots of presents. I was also sick for a couple of weeks. I didn't get to go to Derby this year but Bev says I can go next year.

I got lots of toys for Christmas. My favorite toy in the whole world is my skateboard that I got from my Uncle Jack and Aunt Chris. I like to flip it and stand on it. Sometimes when I stand on it Bev pushes me around the house. Someday I hope I can go down a hill:)

Grandma Nean made me a blankie all my own. It has Big Bird from Sesame Street on it. Grandma Jen gave me a neat singing book with Elmo on it and he sings and plays games and it has a microphone so I can sing too:) And Bev and Hairyman gave me some musical instruments with a drum and a tambourine and everything. Those are the things I like the most. Thank you everyone for loving me this year. I love you too:)

After Christmas we went to the mall and I finally got to ride on the merry-go-round. Jl went with me I had lots of fun but the other baby didn't like it so we had to stop and get off. I didn't like that so I started crying louder than the other baby. The guy gave me a surprise so I would stop crying and it worked. I can't wait to go again;)

We have been so busy visiting people we haven't gone to any new places so tomorrow Bev is taking us downtown. Did I mention that big D is here too? Well he is staying all night tonight so I get to have lots of fun with him and JL tomorrow.

Today I feel like shopping.

This morning we went out and I got to go to my favorite store in the whole world. You guessed it Toys R Us and I had a blast. We didn't even have a cart so I could go anywhere I wanted. I ran this way and dashed that way and I got to play with lots of toys. The very first thing I did was try on a helmut cause you know how much I love hats. Then I saw this giant car with cool shiny wheels. Wow! I really like cars.

I liked playing with this toy too.

The next thing I found to play on was this bike.

It was a lot of fun but then I went around the corner and found this bike.

Which was even cooler than the first one.

After all that running around I was a little tired so I stopped for a minute to rest.

After my little nap I was ready to go again and I found some more cool stuff to play with. I don't quite know what this toy is but it has buttons that talk to you so it was interesting.

Right around the corner from there I found Buzz lightyear. He plays in one of my favorite movies.

After I pushed all of Buzz's buttons. I wandered over to the musical instruments. I love all kinds of music.

Next I read a few books and there was buttons on some of them and they made real cool noises.

The very last thing I played with was the best thing in the whole store. It was a Thomas the Tank train track. I liked it so much that when it was time to go I threw a fit and kept running away from Bev so I could go back to it.

After that we had to leave because Bev decided that I was tired:(

Baby Blues

Today I feel like being a baby.

I want Bev to hold me and call me baby. She is always holding the other baby. Sometimes when Michael is sitting on her I like to climb up and sit on her too. Sometimes he makes me mad but I really love him a lot. Today he cried real loud and I was worried about him, so I gave him some hugs and kisses. He likes to smile at me:)

I broke Bev's camera a while ago. I was being naughty and I climbed up on the babies bed and pulled everything off the shelf. The camera was up there too and I dropped it and now Bev is sad. Whenever she is sad I pat her face and give her love. That week I was in time out a lot. Ever since that week I've been real good and I haven't had to time out even once.

We haven't been going anywhere lately because Michael comes over in the morning and I take naps in the afternoon. But I hope we get to do something fun real soon because I'm getting kind of bored. Today we are having a little blizzard not very much snow but a lot of wind. I hope it doesn't all blow away before I can go outside and play in it.

I have some new hats but Bev has to take pictures with her other camera so we have to get the pictures the old fashioned way and that takes a while. The only pictures she had on the broke camera were of me in the tub having a bubble bath. And she promised never to put embarrassing pictures on here. Which is a good thing since she has a lot of embarrassing pictures of me. Lets just say I like to pretend that everything is a hat.

Today I feel like eating candy.

Except Bev hid my candy from me and she won't let me have any unless I finish my dinner:(

Last night I went for a walk with Bev and I had to wear a yellow duck suit that played the chicken dance song. We think the duck was confused. There were lots of kids running around. They were dressed kind of funny too. We would go knock on the door and people would come out and give me candy. At first I didn't want to put the candy in the bag but then Bev gave me a sucker and as long as I had some candy in my mouth I was fine. I would say candy and bye bye and thank you. Of course everyone thought I was just adorable.

I went to a really scary house that had monsters in the yard and giant spiders on the roof. There was nice regular people inside and they gave me candy too. I've never seen so much candy in my life. I can't wait till next year.

Michael was here for a little while. He was dressed up too. He looked like he was nothing but bones. I think they should feed him more.

Tomorrow is JL's birthday. For his birthday I moved out of his room. Now I have a new room and a new bed. I have Sponge Bob Square Pants sheets and a blanket. Bev couldn't find Elmo but that's ok because my room is cool:) I have a tent and a rocking horse and all my toys. Tonight I picked my toys up and put them away. Bev says I'm a good boy. I like it when she says that:) Well I'm getting tired and I want Bev to take me night night so TTFN...

I've Been To Boone

Today I feel like traveling;)

I just knew when I woke up today it was going to be great. I ate breakfast and then watched Elmo and Ernie and Big Bird. I also finally got Bev to understand the word downstairs. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to get Bev to learn that word.

After that we started getting ready to go somewhere. We don't usually get ready like this unless it's pretty special. We got in the car and went and picked up my friend Jodi. Then we started driving for a long time till I fell asleep.

When I woke up we were at this neat park that had big tall walls made of rock. It was fun because we got to drive through the water and it made a big splash we did it lots of times. Then we got out of the car and went for a walk. Bev made me sit on a rock so she could take my picture.

After that we went through some weeds and found some water and it had tiny fish in it. I sat on a log and threw rocks in the water. I was having fun but we had to go. When I saw the car I got really mad. But I had to get in it anyway:(

We drove for a little while and we passed some monsters. Then we stopped and went into a building. Jodi bought some hotdogs and Bev bought some tickets and we went outside.

I saw the biggest coolest train I've ever saw in my whole life. We were going on a train ride and There were lots of boys and pretty girls there. One boy had an engineers hat on and I wanted it real bad. I kept trying to take it off his head the whole time.

I tried to climb out the window a lot and I was getting real mad because Bev wouldn't let go of me. But then Bev pretended to let go and she scared me and I kind of quit after that. We saw lots of trees and we went over a really high bridge. Me and Bev practiced saying river a lot. I think she's got it now. The train ride was 2 hours long and the other kids were crazy sometimes. But before I knew it the ride was over.

We went into a shop and I GOT A HAT! I also got a Thomas the Tank book. We went to Mc Donalds and then we were driving again. I had a really good time and I hope I get to go again someday. If you ever want to go it might help to know when the trains are leaving. Because we almost missed it. Go to Boone Scenic Valley Railroad I think the ride home was pleasant but I can't really tell you because I fell asleep. Now I'm going to my grandma's for the weekend so TTFN...

Last night we went out for dinner at Fazoli's. I had spaghetti and bread sticks. There were lots of people to stare at. For some odd reason Hairyman doesn't like it when I throw spaghetti at him. I had a really good time:)

This morning I woke up real early and I couldn't go back to sleep. For breakfast me and Bev had eggs,potatoes,toast and mixed fruit. I am really getting good at eating with my fork and spoon. I don't sit in the high chair anymore I sit at the table like a big boy.

After breakfast I played with my hats. Sometimes I wear more than one at a time. My favorite hat isn't even a hat it's a blue thing that hairyman wraps around his knee when it hurts. But I think it makes a cool do rag. For you old people that means bandana;) Then I read a little bit of Mother Earth News. I like to read out loud.

This afternoon I had to go to the Dr and get a shot. The pretty nurse lady says I weigh 26 pounds and I'm 30 1/2 inches long. Then she measured my chest and my head and told me what a big boy I was:) Then the Dr came in and listened to my insides. He wanted me to slap him some skin (give him five) but he just wasn't cool enough. Then the pretty nurse lady came in with a needle and stuck it in my leg. I didn't even cry because I'm a big boy and I wanted some candy:)

Now I'm getting ready to go stay the night with my mommy. I'll be back tomorrow.

Today I feel like taking it easy...

Today I was helping clean the deck off and one of my toys reached out and tripped me. I fell real hard. Now I have a ugly bruise on my leg OWWW! Stupid toy! Bev kissed it and put ice on it then she rubbed lotion on it. I'm glad Bev loves me:)

So now I'm watching Sesame Street. Bev counted to seven with the Count and I said EIGHT! I'm really good at saying NO and MINE! I call JL Leelee but everyone else gets to keep their name. My funniest name to say is Bella she's our cat. We are friends and we play ball together.

Yesterday we played with the camera and took pictures of ourselves. Bev made some really funny faces and she says she wasn't even trying. We also went to a scary store there was monsters and rats and flashing lights I was real scared. She was trying to tell me they weren't real and she poked one with her finger and it jumped up and made really scary noises. I was glad to get out of there! Well Elmo's world is on so it's time to go.

My Week

Hi everybody! Today I feel like hugs and kisses:)

We have done lots of different things lately. Last week I went to the mall with Bev. She let me go anywhere I wanted. We went into a book store but I was real naughty and had a tantrum so she didn't buy me a book:(

I found this really cool place that has balls and hats and lots of sports stuff. I kept going back to the window over and over until Bev finally carried me away. It was called Harrison Sports.

Then we went to a store that was full of monsters. Spiderman was there too, he was on the wall. I had lots of fun in that store I liked growling at the monsters. After that we went to go get a cookie but nobody ever came out. So we went to this place for kids and I rode in a car with a cool cat:)

We had lunch and I really wanted to ride the carousel but Bev said I had to wait for one of my brothers to go on with me:( After that we went home and I got a little shuteye.

We have a cold right now so we have been cranky. Bev doesn't really like it very much when I wipe snot all over her. It doesn't bother me a bit;) I've been learning to blow my nose. It sure beats everyone trying to pull my nose off.

I stayed home this weekend and we went to a family picnic. Big D and JL went with me. Grandpa Derby was there he is real nice he played catch with Big D. JR and JM were there with Michael too.

There were swings and a slide and toys to play with. Jeremy played with me a lot and Bethannie took me for a walk on the bridge:) Hairy Man showed up and him and JL watched the Iowa game. ISU won:( I played a new game called croquet it was fun you got to hit the ball with a club. I had lots of fun with my whole family and I can't wait till next year.

Hairy Man is gone out of town and I miss him a lot. Sometimes Bev let's me sleep on his pillow. Me and JL have been real good helpers while Hairy Man is gone but I sure hope he comes home soon. I've been helping a lot around the house. I throw things away all the time. And I put the pop cans in the basket. I sweep the floor and I clean up my spills. I like to dust too:) Bev says I'm a good helper.

Sunday after Big D left Bev and Hairy Man went to Nice Lady Brenda's house JL babysat me. I like it when he babysits me because we chase each other and make lots of noise and he lets me have cookies. Bev doesn't let me have sugar at night. I stayed awake as long as I could waiting for her but she took too long and me and JL fell asleep. Which is what I'm going to do now, so good night.

This morning I was walking around with a water bottle inside my onesie everyone thought I was funny:)

The rest of the day I've just been complaining about everything. I woke up real early and I can't find JR anywhere and hairyman is gone. And Grandma neen went home with her little dog. And I'm tired of playing with JL and Bev...

So next thing I know Bev is holding me down and doing something to my head. She wouldn't let me play with the shiny sharp things as usual. And she kept taking pictures of me. I don't know what she did but I sure feel better now. I think she stole some of my hair because I found some in a baggie. Well I'm gonna go outside now and play. See Ya...
